Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item upgrader mod of equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common Best item upgrade, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to identify the appropriate Best Item Upgrade, and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in battle, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded Best item upgrade to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item upgrader kit reaches its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this will destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
